  Reading some of the other reviews I can understand that if the campground is packed, Im sure it would be real tight HOWEVER, I went up this weekend and had the most wonderful experience. Dan and Greg could not have been nicer. We ended up at site 122 tucked back in this little cove, some other folks came into the area but were spread out enough to feel the solitude we were seeking. The campground was clean and the bathrooms were VERY NICE. Heated, lots of space and super clean. It was a fun area to explore and if given a choice between Starved Rock (where we usually go) an Pleaseant Creek my camping buddy and I agreed we would come back to Pleaseant Creek. Its worth the extra $ to have that level of ease.

  Nice location. Good restrooms, just not enough! Good showers, just not enough!
  I asked if I could set up a tent on my site along with my small pop-up camper. I was told I would need two sites. However, when we arrived we saw many sites with campers AND tents. Because of this deception, I will not recommend this campground.
